Scheduled Network Maintenance - April 15 & 20
We have two short maintenance windows coming up on April 15 and April 20 as we prepare our network for additional transit and peering providers.
Scheduled Network Maintenance
We have two upcoming maintenance windows on our network that we want to give you a heads up about. Both are relatively short and we don't expect any downtime, but we want to be transparent about what's happening and why.
What's Happening
Our transit provider is performing maintenance on two of our upstream carriers — Colt and Fiberring — on separate dates. Each carrier will be taken offline briefly while updates are applied, and traffic will be rerouted through our other carriers during each window.
Maintenance Window 1 — April 15
- Date: Tuesday, April 15, 2026
- Time: 11:00 – 14:00 CET
- Upstream: Colt
- Expected downtime: None
During this window, the Colt route will be unavailable and all traffic will be rerouted through our other carriers.
Maintenance Window 2 — April 20
- Date: Monday, April 20, 2026
- Time: 11:00 – 14:00 CET
- Upstream: Fiberring
- Expected downtime: None
This maintenance will be performed live and no interruption should occur. In case of any issue, traffic will temporarily be rerouted through our other carriers.
Will I Be Affected?
For most users, you shouldn't notice anything at all. The traffic will automatically reroute through our other carriers while each upstream is offline.
That said, because routes will change temporarily during each window, some traffic may take a slightly different path across the network. This could result in minor latency changes for certain connections, but nothing major. Once each window is complete, everything goes back to normal.
Why We're Doing This
This maintenance is part of a bigger plan. We're preparing our network to bring on additional transit and peering providers, which will mean better redundancy, lower latency, and more capacity for everyone.
We'll have more to share on this in May, so stay tuned.
Questions?
